REINZ has released the statistics for March 2024. So let's take a look at what has been happening... 

Year-on-year

• We have seen a 35.72% increase in the number of sales from the year before with 76 sales being completed in Rotorua. 
• The median days to sell decreased with the median time being 34 days to sell compared to 61 days the year before. 
• There has also been a small increase of 6.5% in the sales price, which is now sitting at a median of $639,000 compared to this time last year. 

Month-on-month

• Between February and March, there was an increase in the number of sales by 10.3%. 
• The median days to sell decreased by 23 days from 57 days the month prior. 
• The medican sales price has also increased from $630,000 to $639,000 between February to March.
