REINZ has released the statistics for July 2024. So let's take a look at what has been happening... 

Year-on-year

• We have seen 4x sales increase in the number of sales from the year before with 73 sales being completed in Rotorua. 
• The median days to sell decreased with the median time being 59 days to sell compared to 64 days the year before. 
• There has also been a small decrease of 10% in the sales price, which is now sitting at a median of $585,000 compared to this time last year. 

Month-on-month

• Between June and July, there was an increase in the number of sales by July having 16 more sales than June. 
• The median days to sell increased by 3 days from 56 days the month prior. 
• The median sales price has decreased from $620,000 to $585,000 between June to July.
